A2 Quick Start Guide

The following is a quick start guide for getting your A2 up and running with XenServer/Citrix Hypervisor/XCP

1. Download XVA (~2GB)

2. Extract and Import A2 XVA into Xen, then boot your A2 as shown:

3. Assign IP address to the A2:

A2 console menu: Option 1 (Networking & Time)-> Option 1 (NICs & IPs)

4. Always check for the latest A2 build:

A2 console menu: Option 5

5. Configure Backup Storage (ADS):

A2 console menu: Option 2 (Backup Storage)-> Option 1 (Primary Storage)

6. Start Services (Option 3)

If everything comes up (all green), move on to the WebUI with the login: alike / alike

7. Follow the mini setup wizard to get the A2 ready to use.

Here you will add Alike license key, and add your Xen/Hyper-v host (or hosts). Note: For Xen pools, always start with the pool master

7. Configure your ABD network (vlan) and IP address/DHCP settings, and test with a Diagnostic job

You're all done!
