Alike Services Do Not Start--SHA-1

If your A2 services no longer start, please drop to the shell (option 4) and type

/usr/local/sbin/startAlike

if you receive a Java stack trace error which includes a SHA-1 message (similar to below), then this indicates your A2 disk image has been corrupted.

You may also receive the following error:

bash: /home/alike/Alike/java/blockvaulter.bash : No such file or directory

Both errors have the same root cause, which is A2 system disk corruption.

The best intervention available is to provision a new A2 and reattach your ADS (and ODS) to it.

After doing so, please self-service a license reset at https://portal.quadricsoftware.com and then reapply your licenses.

This will bring your A2 back just as it was prior to the VM failure, without losing any configuration state or backup data.
