Resetting Global Retention Defaults

If you need to reset all your VMs back to "Use Global Default" for BOTH onsite and offsite retention options, please use the following steps. Please only use these steps when so directed by Alike support.

First, run the following command from the A2 shell, which is accessible via console option 4.

wget -q -O - http://www.quadricsoftware.com/support/scripts/reset_default_global_retention.sh | bash

Note the above is case-sensitive. You can use an SSH client, like Putty, to connect to the A2 console so you can use cut-and-paste.

After running this command, all your VMs will now revert to using your global default retention.
