Offline Authentication

Offline Authentication to your A3

In an emergency situation. or if your internet access is unavailable, you can use this procedure to login to your A3 locally to perform restores and other maintenance.

Simply create a file in the root of your ADS storage named a3.local.auth (/mnt/ads/a3.local.auth)

containing the username and password you wish to use (comma separated). For example, this line would allow you to login with the user "alike" and password "letmein"

Please Note:

Upon successful login, this file will be deleted. Your Alike UI user session will not have access to your portal/subscription management features, but will be able to perform all local A3 related operations.
