Update fails with message "Failed to extract update archive!"


If you attempt to install an update, and receive the following error:


Downloading update now... Extracting update Failed to extract update archive! Error: 2 Please re-download this update and try again. -------------------------------------------


Please check your dashboard in the A2 WebUI to verify you have disk space available on your ADS on local disk. Also verify the services start normally and there are no other issues with them before running the update.

If issues continue and repeated attempts to extract fail, it's likely your A2 disk image is corrupt. Treat this situation exactly the same as the "SHA-1" intervention, described in the following KB:
